Beyond the ordinary

Your life is your masterpiece—paint it with bold strokes and colors only you can see.

Rise and Shine

Today is a good day to remind yourself that you are enough. There are so many things that come at us every day to make us believe that we are not enough.  All of this is just noise meant to distract you from what you truly know in your heart.  God created you in His image -- so you were more than enough when you came here ... we all were.

Over time, many of us were slowly conditioned by families, teachers, partners, friends, bosses - people who we craved acceptance and validation from. We conformed to fit in. We dimmed our light to make them comfortable. And then we slowly lost our sense of value.

Don't be afraid to shine your light. The world needs it now, more than ever. It's time to stop listening to the critics and naysayers. It's time to stand in your truth and focus on your possibilities.

The sky is not the limit; your mind is.

Forever Young

We don't stop playing because we get old. We get old because we stop playing. - George Bernard Shaw

There's a child inside of you that is full of creativity, laughter, big hugs and enthusiasm. Studies show that people who have happy memories live longer.  Keep in mind, your memories are no accident.  The challenge is to love your life as it unfolds and be mindful enough in the moment to stop and pause.  This moment will never be here again. You will never be this young again. Your future self will look back and relive these moments. These memories, saying, "remember when"...

Well, today is "when." Today is all you have.

Embrace the Detours

Nothing is perfect, and that includes life. It isn't always about your perfectly planned journey. It's more about how you handle the unexpected detours. When you try to force things that just don't seem right, you might lose out on a change for what is right. Learning to let go of control is one of the most difficult, valuable lesson we can learn. It is uncomfortable and scary. In order to be in the right place at the right time, you have to let go and remove yourself from the wrong place. Listen to your intuition. Get off the merry-go-round of doing things "just because." When you let go you create space for what lies ahead - a future full of possibilities you have dreamt about.

Live your life like it's your favorite song—loud, bold, and on repeat.
